Tawafe Kaaba and Our Beliefs Saudi Government paused the tawafe Kaaba for a while because of the Coronavirus, and it was in line with Islamic teachings, Because In Surah al-Hajj, our Lord said: Translation: Remember the time when We proposed the place (Holy Kaaba) for Ibrahim (with guidance), "Do not associate anything with me, and my house is a place of pilgrimage and stay." Be pure for the worshipers. That means cleaning the sanctuary is mandatory. Friday prayers included only a few cleaning and security personnel.
